What do you really want -- and expect -- from your equipment rental provider? We went to our customers who gave us excellent feedback. We heard all about: The red tape and paperwork required by the leading national rental companies. Constant over promising -- and under delivering – by too many suppliers. Unreliable equipment that breaks down in the middle of a project creating expensive downtime. The frustrations of equipment not available when it’s needed. We took all this to heart and decided to create a new kind of rental services company. But it had to be one that we ourselves would like to do business with. The result is nothing you’d expect, and everything you’d want from a rental services company. We call it Texas First Rentals and we’d like you to give us a try. If you have a construction project to complete, a facility to manage, or a special need to figure out, we have an affordable solution with a full line of aerial, dirt, and power equipment. We promise to do whatever it takes to make your job easier and more successful. Texas First is a sister company of HOLT CAT®, the largest Caterpillar dealer in the United States. The Holt family has been serving customers for over eight decades in the Texas market. We’ve learned the in’s and out’s of service, safety, quality, and high performance. You can rent the Cat equipment you’ve always trusted for your toughest jobs – plus a whole lot more: equipment from Genie, JLG, Sullair, Wacker, Laymor, Vermeer and a lot of other top-notch manufacturers. We offer specialty equipment like booms, and aerial platforms along with pumps, welders and concrete & masonry equipment and tools. The main thing is that we’re committed to doing business the right way…the Texas Way. That means honesty and straight talk sealed with a hand shake. We won’t be perfect, but when we make a mistake, we’ll own up to it and always make it right.

    As we wrap up National Technician Appreciation week, we'd like to introduce you to Dax, a dedicated Field Service Technician at Texas First Rentals who consistently goes above and beyond in his role. His expertise and commitment to excellence have made him an invaluable part of our team. Dax’s career journey is inspiring, fulfilling a childhood dream of working with Cat equipment. Being part of the HOLT Group has been a highlight for him, and he takes great pride in his work. When he's not working on equipment, Dax is out enjoying the great outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he spends his free time on hunting trips and fishing across DFW’s lakes and rivers. 🏞️🎣 Beyond his love for nature, Dax enjoys quality time at home with his fiancé, Madison, and their two dogs, Sammie and Daisy. 🐕🐾 His ideal weekend? A cozy movie marathon with takeout! What Dax values most is the incredible support and camaraderie from his coworkers. Whether it’s tackling a tough task or sharing advice, he’s grateful to be part of such a supportive team at Texas First Rentals.     In today's #NationalTechnicianAppreciationWeek post, we are highlighting Jared Gomez, an essential member of our team. Jared's dedication, skill, and positive attitude have made a lasting impact on everyone he works with. Jared's journey has been nothing short of impressive. After starting with little technical experience, he worked his way from ISR to becoming a technician apprentice, recently graduating from the HOLT Ready Tech Cohort 5. His passion for learning and problem-solving is clear in everything he does. Outside of work, Jared stays active by hitting the gym and playing softball, but he also loves the simple joys of spending quality time with his girlfriend and dog. His weekends are a perfect balance of fitness, family, and friends—whether it’s a workout, game night, or relaxing at home.     It is National Technician Appreciation Week! We're so thankful for all of the hard working, dedicated technicians on our team and we're going to highlight a few this week! First up, Neil Matthews, a Wash Rack Technician at our Lewisville Texas First Rentals location. Neil’s commitment to his work and his colleagues is evident in every machine he handles, ensuring that each one is spotless and ready for the job. Neil’s attention to detail and commitment to keeping our equipment spotless and ready for action shines in everything he does. When he's not ensuring our machines are in top condition, Neil immerses himself in his passion for music, creating in his studio to unwind and express his creativity. A career milestone Neil takes great pride in is earning his CDL and expanding his skills in industrial rental equipment. His ability to operate rollback tandems and deliver construction equipment has made him an invaluable team member. Family plays a big part in Neil’s life. He loves spending weekends with his wife, son, and close friends on road trips. His pride in his family is inspiring, with his wife running a successful management firm and his son excelling as a straight-A student and wrestler. For Neil, the most rewarding part of his job is contributing to the happiness of his coworkers by delivering quality work every day.
