Updates

  • Big night for TLTA at the Friends of the Texas Historical Commission Gala! Our association was awarded the Julian Read Award for Philanthropy in Preservation, recognizing the nearly 20 years TLTA has been making an annual investment in THC’s Courthouse Stewardship Program. Our continued commitment to this one-of-a-kind program is important to TLTA’s members and their communities, who benefit from the historic courthouses and the legacy they represent. TLTA President Claire Hartman, CTIP and CEO Leslie Midgley, CAE accepted the award on our association’s behalf. Thank you to Friends of the Texas Historical Commission, THC Chair John L. Nau, III, THC leadership and staff, and everyone who helped celebrate an exciting night supporting our state’s rich history. It’s an honor to be recognized among the community of benefactors who support the preservation of Texas history.
