Earlier this year, Governor Greg Abbott announced the recipients of the 2024 Outstanding Women in Texas Government Awards, which honor women in state service who help shape the future of Texas. The winners were honored at a ceremony on September 25 at the JW Marriott Austin, and Texas Pain Society (TPS) Executive Director Krista DuRapau attended, stating, "Last week, I had the honor of watching Mary Landrum receive her Outstanding Women In Texas Government Award. Through TPS, I have worked with Mary for more than a decade, so witnessing this was so special. She is an amazing and deserving winner/woman, and we appreciate all her hard work!"
