The Swing Bed Rehab Team at TMC Bonham Hospital recently led an activity with our patients that was not only a lot of fun, but also delicious! Patients were able to choose their toppings and then measured and poured their own waffles as part of their therapy. We hear that the heart-shaped waffle maker was a big hit! We are so grateful to have therapists who are always looking for effective and meaningful tools to help our patients on their road to recovery. We celebrated the official last day of summer this past Saturday by hosting our 2nd Annual TMC Volleyball Tournament at THF Park! Our teams and spectators had a whole lot of fun in the sun! Pregnant and nursing moms are encouraged to attend the next 903 Lactation Support Group co-hosted by our TMC Certified Lactation Consultants and the Grayson County WIC. That meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 26 at 10 am in the NICU Waiting Area at TMC. And don't forget that TMC also hosts Breastfeeding Classes taught by a Certified Lactation Consultant.
