Abolish slavery everywhere, forever.

About us

Human Trafficking is the fastest-growing organized crime in the world. It's real, hidden in plain sight, and tearing at the social fabric of every nation and economic structure. But that's why we exist—determined to bring change. The operational strategy of our organization is to Reach, Rescue, and Restore lives. For 10 years now, we've rolled up our sleeves and set our feet to action. Why? Because in a single moment a number can turn into a name, a tragedy into a victory, and a belief into action. Freedom. That's our goal for every human being on the planet.

Millions of people worldwide are trapped in labor trafficking, forced to work under inhumane conditions for little or no pay. From domestic servitude and forced begging to grueling manual labor, men, women, and even children are being exploited every day. Labor trafficking is prevalent in industries like agriculture, hospitality, and manufacturing—but it can happen anywhere and to anyone. Often, victims are lured into exploitation through false job advertisements. Share this message. And learn the signs of exploitative employment downloading our Safe Employment Guide at A21.org/Employment. Together, we can help prevent labor trafficking before it can begin. #EndLaborTrafficking #FreedomForAll #A21

#BREAKINGNEWS Today, we celebrate the FREEDOM of three women in South Africa who were freed from exploitation. Two survivors were recovered from domestic servitude after community members stepped in and reported their situation. They will receive ongoing support, including legal assistance, as they prepare to be repatriated. Another woman was recovered from sexual exploitation during a police raid in partnership with A21. She will also receive comprehensive aftercare support to aid in her recovery and healing. We are honored to walk alongside these brave survivors on their journey to freedom. Your support makes this possible—thank you!

Together, our individual efforts have the ability to make a significant impact. Your action catalyzes raising awareness and equipping ordinary people like you to be part of the solution. It’s action in motion—thousands of advocates uniting for one cause–freedom for every human being. This is why we keep showing up, year after year, for #WalkForFreedom in cities around the world.

Human trafficking [the sale of humans for their bodies and/or labor] is one of the world's highest-grossing and fastest-growing criminal industries. This injustice can feel overwhelming at times, and it can be easy not to know where to start or how to be a part of the solution. However, through Walk For Freedom, you can tangibly take action and raise awareness of human trafficking and how to end it. One person can’t do everything, but every person can do something. Register for Walk for Freedom this Saturday, October 19, at A21.org/Walk.
