Earlier this week, Ginnie Mae Acting President Sam Valverde spoke at two events—Women in Housing and Finance, Inc. Public Policy and The Alumni Society 2024 Catalyst—in Washington, D.C. At the Women in Housing Finance event, he shared insights into Ginnie Mae’s mission, investor engagement strategies, and commitment to supporting underserved communities. Later, at The Alumni Society’s 2024 Catalyst DC event, Valverde connected with Latino leaders, sharing his journey as the first Latino to lead Ginnie Mae and how his personal and professional experience in the Americas is informing how Ginnie Mae engages with investors in the region. These engagements underscore Ginnie Mae’s mission to make housing finance more inclusive and accessible for all. Pictured: 1.
