Promoting the advancement of women in the financial services profession
About us
Mission To promote the advancement of women in the financial services profession through research, education, and awareness. Vision To be the nation's leading authority on economic issues and opportunities for American women as financial service professionals History In 2007, State Farm® established a Chair in Women in Financial Services at The American College of Financial Services. This faculty appointment was the first research chair of its kind devoted exclusively to the study of women and their financial concerns. In 2011, State Farm Insurance® made a generous donation to The American College, enabling them to create a new center for women and financial services. As the first academic center of its kind, this focal point of research, education, and awareness will serve as the nation's leading authority on the economic issues and opportunities of American women, both as consumers and providers of financial products and services. Build Expertise When either pursuing a career in financial services or enhancing your current practice, designations and education not only sets you apart for your clients and competition, it also builds the necessary competencies to provide a superior offering. Financial Planning is about creating personalization and empathy; it is time to build on the credentials you currently have to make you an even better advisor

The American College Center for Women in Financial Services reposted this
President and CEO at The American College of Financial Services | Embracing Its History And Shaping The Future | #ExpandYourOpportunities
To mark Women’s History Month this year, I want to honor and thank women working in all fields that have traditionally employed more men, especially the financial services profession. According to the latest US Census Bureau data, women make up just over 50% of the population; yet less than a third (31%) of financial advisors are women. What can we do to help the women who want to join, stay, and succeed in this profession? That’s a question I’m answering in my latest blog. Plus, I’m taking notes from today’s basketball great Caitlin Clark. Please read and share your perspectives. #womenshistorymonth #financialservices #expandyouropportunities https://lnkd.in/eiB7Dd7x
