This is a unique opportunity to significantly impact the community and contribute to AFSP’s vital mission. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 💠Fundraising Leadership: Implement AFSP Out of the Darkness Community & Campus Walks and other approved fundraising events within the assigned market. 💠Program Implementation: Execute approved survivor programs, education programs, and awareness initiatives. 💠Chapter Development: Develop and support the Chapter board and committees within the market. 💠Strategic Planning: Work with the Chapter Board to develop business plans and budgets for the market area. 💠Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and organizations to promote AFSP’s mission and increase involvement in events and programs. 💠Supervision: Oversee an Associate Area Director responsible for program management, walk organization, and email communications. 💠Media Relations: Work with media to publicize AFSP events and mission, enhancing public awareness and achieving fundraising goals. 💠Fiscal Management: Handle cash, manage expenses, and collaborate with the National Office on accounts payable and receivables.
