"I pledged to donate $1 to BCRF for every run our team scored. One of our parents lost her mother to breast cancer at 18, and four other families with personal connections to the cause joined in, contributing to our fundraising efforts."—Jamal Wilburg Jamal, the head coach of a youth baseball team, saw an opportunity to make an even bigger impact for breast cancer. While their league offered the option to wear pink jerseys, Jamal wanted to do more. Knowing how deeply breast cancer had affected many of the players' families, they turned awareness into action—raising funds for lifesaving research by donating to BCRF. Thank you, Jamal and team, for stepping up to the plate and supporting research. 💕
