The 2025 bryt Symposium & Learning Institute last week was a huge success! Over 400 educators and partners came together to share knowledge and learn. The Symposium featured our incredible keynote speakers, Dr. Amy Laurent and Dr. Jac Fede (Autism Level UP!), who shared insightful knowledge on reframing our understanding of young people's challenging behaviors through a lens of regulation. To celebrate 20 years of bryt, we recognized four special honorees at the Symposium—Adam Diliberto, Courtney Balacco, Lindsey Yamaguchi, and Stephanie Glenn, LMHC—as well as a larger group of early pioneers of bryt, to whom we are deeply appreciative for their long-term support. Other speakers included John Crocker, Courtney Jo Balacco, Tracy Floeckher, Trish Schramm, Adam Diliberto, Trisha Bruck, Kerry Whiterell, Lisa Winner, Aviva Kafka, and Stephanie Glenn. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us!

"Every mile I run is for the kids that I work with. Their resilience, their courage, and more than anything their joy really fuels me," says Team Brookline runner Haley Medeiros. "Every child deserves to be happy and healthy, and I'm running to help make that a reality." Haley is a school psychologist-in-training specializing in children's mental health. Running the Boston Marathon has been a dream of hers for years, and Haley is proud to be running and fundraising for a cause she cares so deeply about. Twelve years ago, a group of passionate Brookline Center board members with a bold vision to support women’s and girls’ mental health launched Women at the Center to champion mental wellbeing in our community, raise funding for the Center's work, and foster connections among local women. "Our initial idea was to bring women from the Brookline community together—not just to support women and girls receiving care at the Center, but to create a network that could nurture women supporters of the Center, as well," shared long-standing WAC leader Michele Fishel.
