It’s Friday at Church Street Brewing Company! New taproom release! Holy Darkness. This Dunkel, a dark German lager originating from Munich, is crafted with Munich, Dark Munich, and Caramunich malts. While German hops and yeast play a supporting role, it’s the malt that takes center stage. At 5.2% ABV, it drinks a lot lighter than it looks. Join us for live music all weekend long: - **Friday:** Jason Jeka 6-9pm - **Saturday:** Keithen Banks 5-8pm - **Sunday:** Johnny Don't 3-6pm Kick off your weekend with a pint of Holy Darkness and some great tunes! #RighteouslyGoodBeers #HolyDarkness #ChurchStreetBrewing

We need your support ! Like right now! Do you enjoy our hemp-derived beverages? If so we think you should know that Big Cannabis and some uninformed and/or misguided state politicians are trying to make hemp beverages made by Illinois breweries illegal. Some of the Senate Executive Committee are trying to include a stealthy amendment to ban these drinks in a Concurrent vote with the House of Representatives THIS week. Which means it might get slipped in without any discussion on how to regulate hemp-based beveragesat all. This Bill will force @pigeon.row.bev & everyone in Illinois to stop making and selling them. About 10% of Illinois breweries are already producing hemp beverages because they're enjoyable, profitable, and their customers WANT them. Instead of banning craft breweries (and other small businesses) from a new marketplace, policymakers should be regulating and taxing these products. If you enjoy hemp-beverages and support #IllinoisBeer, please shoot your local legislator a note asking them to VOTE NO on SB0776 Senate Amendment 1 and SB3926.
