We are thrilled to spotlight Katie Dear, Regional Team Lead in Indiana, who recently graduated from the prestigious Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (INARF) Leadership Academy Class of 2024! 🌟 This achievement highlights Katie's exceptional commitment to leadership and professional growth. INARF is Indiana's key membership organization for providers of disability services, dedicated to improving the support system for Hoosiers living with disabilities. Katie is one of 26 dedicated individuals in this year's graduating class and now joins the esteemed group of 112 Leadership Academy Alumni. Completing the intensive curriculum has provided Katie with valuable insights and skills that will greatly benefit both the Indiana team and the individuals we serve, as well as enhance her own professional development. We are incredibly proud of Katie's hard work and the positive impact she continues to make. Congratulations, Katie, on this remarkable accomplishment!

We are gearing up for the Disability Pride Festival in Wisconsin this weekend! Hosted by Disability Pride Madison, this event builds on a long tradition of disability pride celebrations around the world. We are delighted to spotlight Katy S., a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Columbus, who recently received an Empowerment Award for exemplifying collaboration in her work. A little more about Katy: Katy serves children aged 3-14, finding particular joy in working with neurodiverse students and supporting those with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) needs. She believes that speech therapy is only one aspect of the support for many children at her school. To provide comprehensive care, Katy collaborates closely with educators, related service providers, and school social workers, ensuring that students receive the support they need both at school and at home. Congratulations on your award, Katy! We appreciate and thank you for your passion in making a difference in the lives of students.
