Happy International Youth Day! According to the United Nations, Half of the people on our planet are 30 or younger, and this is expected to reach 57% by the end of 2030. Here at The Connection, we serve the youth of Connecticut in several youth centered programs. Our longest running program for youth is the Start Program for Young Adults, which provides supportive housing, treatment services, life-skills education, and emergency housing with case management. Our other programming includes the Former Foster Care Youth Services, the Meriden Middlesex Wallingford Young Adult Crisis (MMWYAC) program, and Rehousing for Emerging Adults. Join us in celebrating the potential and achievements of our youth. The Connection recognizes that youth facing challenges need specialized services to succeed.
