We are so happy to share that our Clinical Therapist Alexa Robinson recently published an article on youth suicide. Youth suicide is a critical issue that demands urgent attention. The article highlights the alarming statistics and underlying factors contributing to this crisis and emphasizes the importance of open conversations, supportive environments, and accessible mental health resources to help prevent these tragedies. By raising awareness and fostering a culture of empathy and understanding, we can work towards a future where every young person feels valued and supported. Please check out Alexa's article below, or read it on our blog at https://lnkd.in/gT8HcxXN !

Are you a couples therapist? Do you want to become one? At The Counseling Hub, we support our clinicians with professional development funds and consistent guidance and mentoring. With an ever increasing need for relationship therapists, we are expanding our services for folks in committed partnerships, and are looking for excellent clinicians to support them. Please check out this testimonial by our Director of Clinical Operations who is also a Clinical Therapist, Clinical Team Lead, and Certified Gottman Therapist (one of fewer than 600 in the nation!). Fun fact: Molly Lyons-Sword started as an intern at The Counseling Hub and has achieved so much in only six years with us. Are you the next to join our thriving team? #thecounselinghub #counseling #gottmantherapist #couplestherapist

We love our monthly staff picks! This month’s recommendation is by Kacie Naros, Clinical Therapist with The Counseling Hub! She recommends Rene Brown’s book Atlas of the Heart and writes: “I love this book for its collection of universal experiences and emotions that tell a story of what it means to be human. Although many people navigate through these feelings and situations, it is sometimes complex to put a name or label to what we have been through. I find it helpful as a guide to help identify challenges and be able to relate them in an understandable and validating way.” Thank you, Kacie! 💙 Have you read Atlas of the Heart yet? What are your thoughts on it? If you're local to Columbia or Jefferson City, MO, please know that your public library @dbrl has it on their shelves. Pick it up and borrow it for free! #thecounselinghub #ourteam #hubculture #workculture #hublife #mentalhealth #therapy #counseling #staffpick #staffrecommendation #brenebrown #atlasoftheheart
