Six women, three days, one incredible Pink Boots Malt Experience Scholarship! Through this special Pink Boots Society opportunity, we hosted brewers from across North America for an immersive journey into malt, brewing, and craft beverages. The trip kicked off at Country Malt Group & Great Western Malting, where they brewed with Pink Boots Malt and toured the malt plant. They explored fruit purees at The Oregon Fruit Company, learned about cider at BAUMAN'S CIDER COMPANY LLC, and visited F & B Farms and Nursery to see hop propagation up close. The experience wrapped up with SheBrew Festival and a Brewers Brunch at The Sports Bra—a perfect way to celebrate International Women's Day! We’re back! Our Asheville distribution center is officially open and operating again after Hurricane Helene. Huge thanks to our incredible Asheville team for their hard work in restoring the warehouse and to the Asheville community for their resilience and support. We’re gradually transitioning states back to being serviced out of Asheville, and we appreciate your patience during this process. It’s great to be back—cheers to moving forward together!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James Fawcett, a true icon in the brewing industry and a cherished part of the Country Malt Group family. As the son of Thomas Fawcett, James played an instrumental role in our early success, helping to forge one of our very first malt vendor partnerships. Over the years, he became more than just a business partner— he became family. His passion, knowledge, and unwavering commitment to the craft left a lasting mark on the global brewing community. As we grieve this loss, we’ve been looking back on our favorite photos and reflecting on the many moments we shared with James — remembering the warmth, wisdom, and camaraderie he brought to every interaction and celebrating the incredible legacy he leaves behind. James’s legacy lives on in the partnerships he built, the brewers he inspired, and the excellence he championed.
