SPARK's Insight to Well-Being Program was designed to help transform the lives of adults involved in the criminal justice system by pointing them to their innate resilience and well-being. "I have learned in this class that mental static noise has held me back from my true potential. I am teaching myself, because of this class, not to let those negative thoughts make me. I am uncovering new character traits and an inner peace that I had once believed was unattainable. I am eternally grateful. Thank you. My Spark is alive!" - Insight to Well-Being participant at Falkenburg Road Jail . . . #FindYourSPARK #Resilience #UnlimitedPotential #HillsboroughCounty #HCSO #InsightToWellBeing #TheSPARKInitiative #TampaBayNonProfits #NonProfitOrganization #WellBeing #MentalHealth #CommunityEngagement

It's been 11 days since Hurricane Milton made landfall near our community, so we wanted to update our SPARK family and followers. Other than power outages and debris, we are all incredibly lucky to be safe and left without significant storm damage. However, many in our community were not as lucky. Hurricane Milton presented historic weather and damage to the Tampa Bay community, and it will take time to rebuild and recover. If you are in a position to donate to disaster relief efforts, we will link some below. Thank you for all of the well wishes during the ups and downs of the past two weeks. We are so grateful to be safe and back doing what we love here at The Spark Initiative. As Hurricane Milton approaches the Tampa Bay area, we want to encourage our community to prepare. If you are in an evacuation zone, seek a safe place to ride this out. Stock up on water and canned goods, fill your car with gas. Lend a hand to neighbors, friends and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with our community, and the safety of all of you. Be prepared and stay safe! Love, The SPARK Team
