Our new fully integrated campaign for Kretschmar Deli Meats and Cheeses – “Made for More” – launched with a tongue-in-cheek, anti-sandwich message to “Stop just making sandwiches”. Celebrating the idea of going places that no deli meat has gone before. In other words, beyond sliced bread. And rounding out with recipe inspiration that actually inspires you. No sandwich-heavy food shots. No expected recipes. No basic sliced bread. Because while every other deli brand might be made for a sandwich – Kretschmar is made for more.

A shift in appetite is one of the most impactful side effects of cancer treatment. Having access to nutritional, delicious food ensures cancer patients have the nourishment they need to help them in their fight. The Escape Pod is proud to have partnered with Culinary Care – a Chicago-based non-profit organization that delivers free chef-made meals and community support to families fighting cancer – in honor of their 10th anniversary. The Escape Pod turns 17 today! We’re off to see an R rated movie! Probably an action horror comedy romance. We’ve been lucky to have created some work that made an impact on pop culture, and I’ve personally been super lucky as sometimes it impresses my kids. Frankly, the best-case scenario in our industry is you create advertising that gets all your clients promoted. And I think we’re pretty good at that. Here’s a few favorite Escape Pod ideas from the past 17 years: 1. Got low-fi and crafty for Disney Music. 2. Told the world to ‘Respect the Grip’ for Golf Pride. 3. Said ‘no’ to turkey for a better Thanksgiving for Smithfield Foods. 4. Poured Methylcellulose on the CEO of KIND Snacks. 5. Created Bloody Mary Ketchup for Zing Zang. 6. Got naked for the launch of BOA Nutrition Inc. 7. Replaced Divy bikes with AR-15's for the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence. 8.  Matched cross country athletes with Animal Shelters for Merrick Pet Care.  9. Traveled to Antarctica to launch the EGO battery powered Snow Blower. 10. Collaborated with YouTube star Action Movie Kid for Toys’R’Us. 11. Convinced NFL quarterback Drew Brees to retire to ride a Can-Am Spyder. 12. Cried over the delicious taste of a2 Milk. 13. Surprised fans on social media with pallets of Wheat Thins. 14. Bought a car with pennies for OfficeMax. 15. Challenged college golfers to take on the hardest shots in PGA history for Golf Pride.  16. Played the second most annoying song in history on repeat for PAWS Chicago. 17. Took a grammar school to meet aliens for Lunchables.
