The first of its kind — a human-powered “Wander Wheel” for Merrell hiking footwear. This rotating human-powered sculpture was designed by PLAYLAB, INC., produced by Mazarine Group, and fabricated by The Factory NYC. To bring this vision to reality, we teamed up with Stronghold who handled the steel frame. From there, our team fabricated every detail from the wheel itself to the landscaping elements that transform this wheel into a living, breathing experience. The Wonder Wheel mimics the feeling of hiking through diverse landscapes, from the flowering hills of California to the rugged plains of the Australian outback. Finally, at Studio 525, soft, natural sounds and gentle washes of color create a calming environment, preparing the body for the journey ahead. Studio 525 in Chelsea 525 W 24th Street Saturday 9/28 & Sunday 9/29 — 10am - 6pm Mazarine New York #playlabinc #mazarineny #mazarinegroup #WanderWheel

We made a giant medical pen! The Factory NYC design-engineered and 3D printed this massive sculpture in parts. This makes it simple to disassemble for crating, shipping and ease of install/removal. Thank you Freeman Company for working with TFNYC!

What happens when you put 160 of these together 👨🍳💋 Behind the scenes of how we took this intricately textured Miss Dior Dress at The Met @metmuseum and used 3D modeling and rubber mold-making to translate the pattern to the Museum’s walls. The exhibit Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion is up through September 2, 2024 on view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 899 free with admission.
