The conference, hosted by Children’s Mercy Hospital is a language equity conference for bilingual practitioners and organizations in health and human services that serve Kansas City’s Spanish-speaking communities. Our staff had a day of learning and networking to advance their abilities to provide safe and effective professional bilingual services.

The TFC Early Childhood Mental Health team kicked off a new Clay County Community Caregiver Camp this summer. The sessions were held at the Smithville Public Library where over 18 families attended programming with their children. The camp helps parents learn how to interact with their children through circle time, fun activities, and more. Caregivers are able to immediately apply their newfound skills to real life. Thank you to the Clay County Children’s Services Fund for making this possible!
