The next generation of scientists will blow your mind! I had the incredible honor of attending Regeneron's STS Awards gala last Tuesday and got to speak to some of the 40 high school students who had made it to the final of this prestigious award. These students are finding new ways to treat Cancer, Alzheimer’s… address climate change and more. They were talented, articulate and incredibly dedicated to their pursuit of great science. As a mother of two children in the Ossining Union Free School District I definitely shed a tear when our very own Thomas Cong took 2nd place! We are so fortunate to have Regeneron as a partner of the Women Business Collaborative. Their pursuit of “Better Workplace, better science, better world” was on display in the incredibly representative group of finalists that they brought together. Happy International Women's Day! I got to spend yesterday with some of my favorite women, who also happen to be absolutely fierce business leaders. It is a huge honor to serve on the board of Women Business Collaborative and see these women continue to soar, Politics is not holding us back! It's been a journey but I have never looked back. I also know this is a lot harder for others so I do not take this privilege for granted.
