Another Halloween is in the books! Happy November 1st! Which means we are in CHRISTMAS mode here at The Flash Lady Photography for the next few weeks! It ALSO means we're gearing up for our month-long TOY DRIVE! In partnership with the Newington Police Department, we collect toys here at the studio all month long for local children and families, especially during our Christmas photo-appointments. After such a gorgeous in-home Maternity photoshoot back in August, I didn't know how we could do any better until their newest little one arrived! Loved this neutral & blue color combo and Mom is a HUGE fan of black and white photographs, so we had plenty to choose from there as well! This adorable family session recently took us to Old Wethersfield! Would you even guess that there were probably thousands of people walking around for a fall festival at the same time?! As a professional photographer, the job is to figure out how to tell the best story no mater what the circumstances! The Magic of Fall... There's just something about the changing of the seasons that makes living here in New England even more amazing. And it's even better when I get to meet wonderful families, learn more about them, and deliver something beyond their expectations. My days are filled with editing for fall family galleries, and I just love seeing the beauty of the season come together! One of the BEST ways to have a great family photo, besides having an experienced photographer who knows how to make you look your best, are your OUTFITS! Stand out from the background by coordinating what you are wearing around 2-3 colors/hues, layers, and maybe a pattern and you have a great look that will work no matter who we are posing together! In this case, they utilized a yellow/gray/blue combination with layers which looked great in front of these beautiful yellow trees! What are your favorite colors to coordinate together this season?
