Over the years, we've had countless Gatehouse Members in the healthcare profession, from nurses and medical assistants to chiropractors and occupational therapists and now students pursuing healthcare degrees. No matter the career path, each one is committed to health education and helping us have a healthier community. While Domestic Violence is not the only reason women come to The Gatehouse, more than 50% of the women in our Program have experienced DV at some point in their life. The Gatehouse is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for single mom students. Single mom students and their kids live rent-free on our campus so mom can focus on finishing school. While they're earning their degree, they're learning lifelong skills to manage their financial, emotional, spiritual and physical health through our Education Track program.

Did you know The Gatehouse offers two programs for goal-oriented single women?   The Career Track is for underemployed women with or without kids who have already taken steps toward permanent change and are ready to focus on building their career to achieve self-sustainability.   The Education Track is for single mom students working to complete their associates, bachelor's or master’s degree and need a hand up to finish school so they can achieve permanent self-sustainability.   Rediscover Hope Become Equipped Experience Dignity Achieve Stability
