The economy finally seems to have had an impact on buyers and we saw a softness in the market in September. That being said, interest rates did drop last month and we’ll be seeing the impact of that in October. ✨ The Gellman Team is on target to have the biggest October in the history of our company. In addition, we’ve already surpassed our volume for 2023 and there are still 2 months of selling left in 2024! ✨ ➡️ Team Highlights in September We hosted our 3rd Annual Movie Night & Fall Festival. We love reconnecting with our forever clients! Up next: 9th Annual Pie Giveaway and Winter Warm-Up Clothing Drive Record closing week with 15 closings in 5 days! Congratulations to our agents and closings department. 🏆 Operations Department by the Numbers in September 70 listing status changes 27 new active listings 25 photoshoots 5 blogs posted (our blogs are trending at 25,000 annual hits!) 55 contracts processed 77 courier trips 📢 Our 26 agents will sell 520 homes this year…that’s an average of 20 homes per agent! There are active buyers through the winter and there is still a weakness in inventory. ➡️ If you’re a buyer - if you find a home you like, don’t wait. There are a lot of buyers waiting on the sidelines until after the election, until spring, or until after interest rates go down even more. Waiting just means more competition later and prices will likely increase. 🏠 We don’t wait for the spring market! We’re still listing great homes this fall and through the winter. There is demand and homes priced right are still selling.
