Two-thirds of US Service Members do not get enough sleep every night. This is twice as high as the civilian population. Sleep is crucial to performance and lack of sleep can lead to errors, injury, and possibly loss of life. Researchers at the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command’s Walter Reed Army Institute of Research are currently investigating ways to help Service Members get the most out of their sleep.
