  • Get to know Imagen's 2024 Influential Latinos in Media! 💫 Before launching Allied MGMT Group, John Pollak was the EVP of Commercial Development at NBCUniversal where he worked directly with the internal development team, external creative partners, global producers, agents, and studios to identify and develop show ideas that were pitched to all US networks and platforms.     Prior to NBCUniversal, Pollak was President of @Electus where he oversaw global production and distribution. The global sales and distribution arm of Electus LLC sold to over 100 third-party producers and broadcasters. Throughout his career, Pollak and his team distributed more than 8,000 hours of content to over 170 countries around the world   Recognizing 40 executives under the age of 40, Variety selected Pollak for its 2017 New Leaders list. In 2008, The Hollywood Reporter included Pollak in its 35 under 35, Next Generation list. Pollak launched the Alliance of Latino Executives, a group of senior-level Latino executives whose mission is to create sustained opportunity for up-and-coming Latino executives, storytellers, and producers. Their initiative with the WGA’s Rise Up has created tremendous opportunities for the highest-level Latino writers in Hollywood.   • Get to know Imagen's 2024 Influential Latinos in Media! 💫 Tony Patterson is a Studio Executive and Line Producer in Charge of Production, who has been in the entertainment industry for nearly four decades and is currently Head of Unscripted Production Americas for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, where he oversees all unscripted projects across Canada, Latin America, and Brazil. Prior to Amazon, he was hired by MGM Television and Mark Burnett Productions, as Director of Unscripted Physical Production. Where he oversaw multiple unscripted projects and produced titles such as: “The Contender, “Signed” and“Coupled”. He was later tapped as Executive in Charge of Production for “World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji” for Amazon Prime Video, where he caught the attention of Amazon Studios executives, who hired him to consult on the series’ “The Pack” and ”Making the Cut–Season 2”. Before shifting into unscripted/reality television, where he worked in Physical Production at Lifetime Television Networks and then in Production and Programming for Scripps Networks’ Fine Living Channel, Tony worked in film completion bonds, managing the delivery of feature films for clients such as Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and New Line Cinema. His entertainment career began as a tour guide for Universal Studio Hollywood. In 2024, Palos negotiated financing for AGC's series "Those About to Die," uniting several international production, distribution, and financing partners to produce the largest independently produced TV series to date, with a budget north of $150 million. Amid unprecedented challenges in the independent sector, his ambitious dealmaking at AGC Studios totaled over $220 million in budgetary spending in the same period, encompassing projects like "The Silent Hour," "Hit Man," and "Woman of the Hour." These projects achieved significant success at TIFF, with the latter two boasting the festival's largest sales, totaling $30 million.
