Get to know Imagen's 2024 Influential Latinos in Media! 💫
AGC Studios' Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder Miguel Angel Palos Jr. is a seasoned executive with a remarkable track record in the entertainment industry.
In 2024, Palos negotiated financing for AGC's series "Those About to Die," uniting several international production, distribution, and financing partners to produce the largest independently produced TV series to date, with a budget north of $150 million. Amid unprecedented challenges in the independent sector, his ambitious dealmaking at AGC Studios totaled over $220 million in budgetary spending in the same period, encompassing projects like "The Silent Hour," "Hit Man," and "Woman of the Hour." These projects achieved significant success at TIFF, with the latter two boasting the festival's largest sales, totaling $30 million.
Before AGC, Palos served as CFO of IM Global, where he orchestrated financing for over 35 projects, deploying more than $600 million in production capital. Lauded as one of Variety's New Leaders in Film, he is a sought-after speaker on industry panels.
Congratulations Miguel! 👏
