Mentorship Program is Launched.
Non Profit Launches Mentorship Program Although much about neurodiversity in unknown, the value of mentorship in improving employment outcomes is universally accepted. Mentorship programs have proven to improve retention, productivity, and employee satisfaction across the enterprise for every neurotype. For neurodivergent employees, having a mentor to discuss disclosure issues and networking challenges often makes the difference between success and failure. Filling the need for mentors is a primary mission of The Independence Hub's 8020 Project. This video provides basic information on the 8020 Mentorship program. 1. Who is eligible to join 2. What is required of you 3. How to get started. First, this mentorship program is open to anyone through Eighty Twenty Project membership. There is no need for anyone to disclose a neurodivergent condition to participate in this program as either a mentor or mentee. The requirements of the program vary by phase. This approach allows us the flexibility to make the broadest impact for the most people. Let's look at the phases one at a time. 🌞The primary work in the Pool phase is to help mentees create or enhance their personal portfolios and to complete their first insurance designation through The Institutes. Meanwhile, the pool approach and its office hours promote group interaction. 👨🏽🤝👨🏽Are you looking to have a one on one relationship? For people like you, we ask you complete a training program through our partner, NeuroTalent Works. Summary: 1. This program has three phases. 2. Each phase involves a different level of commitment. 3. Getting started is simple.
