Have you heard about job hopping? It's becoming increasingly common, even among those in leadership roles. Once viewed as a career risk that signaled an employee's lack of loyalty or willingness to grow, job hopping has become the norm, offering employees at all levels valuable (and varied!) work experiences, adaptability, and networking opportunities. Is this a positive shift in thinking? How do you think job hopping impacts—positively or negatively—teams, leadership, and workplace culture?

"Seven in 10 U.S. workers are ready to leave if they have a bad manager." Keeping great talent is tough. But it's a heckuva lot easier when your managers are leaders those talented employees want to work for. The (not so hidden) ROI on investing in the development of leaders within your organization goes beyond the ways those leaders, themselves, develop and improve, and extend outward, like ripples on water, to the positive effects great leadership has on team morale, productivity, innovation, and—you guessed it—retention. #leadershipdevelopment #leadershipskills

As kids get ready to head back to school, parents are preparing not only to set their children up for a successful year but also to create a happy life at home. There's a lot of work going on behind the scenes. Whether it’s organizing afternoon activities, establishing regular sleep schedules, or simply getting back into a familiar routine, caregivers invest a great deal of time and effort to ensure their children and family thrive. Leading a household and leading a team are more similar than you think. In both roles, you set the stage for success. Whether it's the start of a new school year—or just a new month or new project—how you approach new challenges and opportunities can make all the difference. What's your best advice to someone gearing up to tackle something new?

Women's experiences as parents in the workplace differ greatly from men's. While men often receive a "fatherhood wage premium," mothers face a "motherhood penalty" in both wages and opportunities for advancement. What's more, women face even more biases based purely on the possibility of motherhood. This "maternal wall" affects the careers of all women, regardless of their plans to have children. As leaders, it's on us to be aware of these biases and work to mitigate their effects. What's been your experience? How have you overcome or put systems in place to fight biases like these?
