The Lilac Review is a government-backed independent review, aiming to tackle the inequality faced by disabled-led businesses and level-up entrepreneurial opportunity across the UK. Spearheaded by Small Business Britain, the Lilac Review launched in February 2024 and will seek to identify the barriers faced by disabled-led businesses in the UK, and develop and action plan to remove them.

Sarah Berthon, founder of Excel against the Odds, supports people with chronic illnesses in the workplace through mentoring, workshops and online communities. Living with conditions like PoTS, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, ME/CFS, and Chronic Migraine, Sarah brings personal experience to The Lilac Review Steering Board, including from corporate roles and entrepreneurship. Dr Mark Esho is a serial entrepreneur and member of The Lilac Review Steering Board.
