A lovely five star patient review to share on Feedback Friday! Image Description: The image consist of a primarily blue background with an image of Lincoln Hospital at the bottom of the image. The centre of the image includes a review which reads "I cannot fault the care I was given at all. I had a lot of questions and worries of the unknown but everything was explained to me and at the times of me being scared, the nurses were always on hand to give me a hug, you can't imagine how much that meant to me. All the staff in theatre took the time to chat to me and make jokes to help me feel at ease. The after care, again, was superb. I cannot fault anything at all. I truly believe that there is nothing you could do to improve the kindness and care I received, from start to finish."

Is Surgery Abroad Worth the Risk? In his recent BBC Look North interview, Mr Matt Smith, Consultant Cosmetic Surgeon at Circle Lincoln Hospital, highlighted the dangers of medical tourism. Whilst sometimes perceived more affordable, surgery abroad can come with serious risks like lower safety standards, serious complications and poor or no aftercare. When considering any surgery including surgery abroad, Mr Smith advised patients to weigh up the risks, conduct research and consult with a qualified surgeon at home before making a decision. Your health and safety should always come first! #MedicalTourism #SurgeryAbroad #BBCLookNorth #SafeSurgery
