In 2023, my team & I at FASHINNOVATION went into a partnership with The Lions focusing on both companies commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the fashion industry. Through the partnership, various talent & entrepreneurs from The Lions with inspiring voices including Anne V., Coco Rocha, Sinead Bovell, Marina Testino and Natane Boudreau took the stage at the Worldwide Talks! Both the Founder of The Lions - Julia Kisla Taylor and Head of Branding - Lucy Jackson inspired on stage as well! Julia Kisla joined me on the board of Mercado Global, and Julia & her team at The Lions launched a collection during the holidays - travel bags - to help the women in Guatemala. The Lions X FASHINNOVATION co-hosted an event at Lectra Innovation Center in NYC, speaking on the importance of “Technology X Sustainability” bringing industry leaders including Awet Goitom Woldegebriel, Keith Lissner, Uddhav Bagrodia - Founder of WASTEWEAR, JASON NAYLOR & others! Most recently, in 2024, we had another incredible talent - model & entrepreneur - at The Lions: Taylor Foster, on a panel at FASHINNOVATION’s 1st collaborative #InCharge event with DVF (Diane von Furstenberg) in NYC.
