U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Hotels rankings have been announced with The Little Nell presented a Gold Badge, named #5 among Best Hotels in the USA for 2025, and #1 for Best Hotels and Resorts in both Aspen and Colorado! To determine the 15th annual Best Hotels rankings, editors evaluated more than 30,000 luxury properties across the United States, Europe, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean. The methodology considers a hotel's star rating and both expert and guest sentiment by collecting annual awards from distinguished travel publications and user scores from various sources, the combination of which helps determine each hotel's rank. “Maybe the things we love can motivate us to do more...” Dirt bag, parent, climate researcher, and Aspen One SVP of Sustainability Auden Schendler helped kickstart our sustainability department, one of the industry’s first—26 years ago. His new book “Terrible Beauty: Reckoning with Climate Complicity and Rediscovering Our Soul" is part ski bum memoir, and part climate crisis road map. The book is available starting on November 26 and copies can also be found in our hotel rooms.

Travel connoisseur Jillian Dara's coverage in The MICHELIN Guide lauds all there is to do at The Little Nell from her visits, experiencing the exquisite wining, dining and more. "The only thing I didn’t do was ski," she shares. "But you don’t need my recommendation for that. Skiing is simply a given here. The obsessives rave about the powder runs on Fridays and about the ski concierge who warms your boots and waxes your board. And even so — to me, at The Little Nell, skiing is almost beside the point. Would I return in winter? Of course. If only for the après scene." https://lnkd.in/drD2syZ6

SNOW Magazine profiles winemaker Ken Forrester, the celebrated South African vintner, with his burgeoning business and love for Aspen. A favorite place of his is "Ajax Tavern in The Little Nell, with the best après ski in the world. You get off the gondola, and Ken Forrester Reserve Chenin Blanc is waiting by the glass....we’ve had so many good times in Aspen. It’s a special place, with special people, and we love going back.” https://lnkd.in/ghhKTgyU
