Healthy Cooking Starts with GreenPan™

About us

GreenPan™ is an award-winning, sustainably built line of healthy nonstick ceramic cookware perfect for every kitchen - with colorful pieces and collections that will catch your eye. Founded by Jan Helskens and Wim De Veirman, our focus is on the environment. We're committed to sustainable practices, becoming an innovator in cookware, with over 150 patents for technological advancements. We introduced Thermolon™ to culinary spaces and kitchens across the world in 2007. Thermolon™ is the first alternative to traditional cookware coatings, is plastic-free, and is formulated from sand. GreenPan cookware is free of PFAS, PFOA, cadmium, and lead and made using groundbreaking technology. PFAS, also known as forever chemicals, are synthetic chemicals and what conventional nonstick coatings are made from. Our products are also created using recycled aluminum and upcycled stainless steel. We develop and manufacture our products in our eco-friendly GreenPan-owned factory using less CO2, in-house water filtration, and solar power. And we own our wastewater treatment plant. The GreenPan factory has been awarded multiple ISO certificates for the care of our staff and surroundings. Our Valencia Pro cookware collection has been recognized with a Good Housekeeping 2023 Sustainable Innovation Award for the use of certified recycled aluminum. Our sustainability efforts don't stop there. We will safely recycle your old cookware. The Original GreenPan brand is under the umbrella companies owned by The Cookware Company, which has offices around the globe. We've revolutionized and redefined cookware.
