☔Mipim 2025 summary This year, Cannes welcomed us with rainy weather, which fortunately did not impact the events taking place at the Palais des Festivals. Łódź/Invest in Lodz (Central Poland) had the pleasure of participating in the fair alongside four partners: Grupa Echo Investment/Archicom, OKAM Capital, Skanska, and Duda Development. Once again, I would like to sincerely thank you for your trust and substantive support. There was a lot happening at the Lodz booth. In addition to inspiring meetings and discussions with investors, we had the opportunity to host three panel discussions: "Senior Living Evolution" – where experts Michał Witkowski, MBA, Adam Pustelnik, Anna Watkowska, and Katarzyna Lewoc discussed the senior housing market in Poland, and OKAM Capital presented its unique new investment project in Lodz. "From Rail to Real Estate: Uniting Cities, People, and Ideas Through High-Speed Connectivity" – During this panel, we had the opportunity to discuss strengthening economic ties and cooperation between cities that will soon be connected by high-speed rail, featuring mayors: Poznań (@Jacek Jaśkowiak), Gdańsk (@Piotr Grzelak), and Lodz (Adam Pustelnik), moderated by the invaluable Marcin Juszczyk – Head of ULI Poland/Czech Republic. "From Vision to Reality: The Impact of CPK, The Largest Investment in CEE, on Łódź’s Property Market" – In this case, experts Richard Stephens, Katarzyna Włodek-Makos, Adam Pustelnik, Waldemar Olbryk (PMP, FRSA), Arkadiusz Rudzki, and Wojciech Duda debated the impact of the Central Communication Port (CPK) investment on the real estate market and the economy of Łódź, including the New Center of Lodz project. Once again, our friends from Eurobuild CEE supported our events, for which I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Elwira Soćko and Anna Korólczyk-Lewandowska. Mipim is not only about the booth events. This year, for the second year in a row, we had the pleasure of being a partner of the business breakfast organized by droitpolonais.fr, BZB Projekt - Biuro Zarządzania w Budownictwie, and Warimpex Finanz- und Beteiligungs AG. I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and thanks for inviting us to collaborate to Alicja Bień, Alicja Tarkowska, Bartlomiej Zgorzelski, and Franz Jurkovitz. I am glad that this event is now a permanent fixture in the Mipim event calendar It is also worth mentioning that our Head Adam Pustelnik was invited to participate in one of the plenary sessions organized as part of The Logistics Forum, where he was the only representative of local government presenting the vision for Lodz’s development against global trends. Additionally, Adam had the pleasure of giving an interview to the prestigious publication Monocle, during which he spoke about Łódź's green transformation Once again, heartfelt congratulations to Echo/Archicom for winning two real estate Oscars for the Fuzja project, which brought us all immense joy! The City of Łódź, located in the centre of Poland & the heart of Europe, has arguably TRANSFORMED MORE THAN ANY LARGE CITY IN POLAND over the last few years. Łódź once again has a strong presence at MIPIM, at their stand R8.D11 between the Warsaw stand & the terrace. When the high-speed rail system, with the huge CPK airport & rail hub - located between Warsaw & Łódź - comes into play, the city's strategic location will be elevated even further.
