In honor of International Women's Month ... here's a small sign of progress when it comes to pay equity. New data from the Pew Research Center shows that in 2024, women earned an average of 85 cents for every dollar that men earned. In 2003, it was 81 cents. Four cents over 20 years is not awe-inspiring – but at least we're heading in the right direction. And the gap for young workers is now near parity.
