Chopped: Purple Carrot Edition 🤩 🔪 We put our Senior Leadership Teams cooking skills to the test in a "Chopped" style competition! The task was to create an unforgettable Crunchadilla that had the right taste, texture, and tenacity to win it all. Our in office and remote teammates had a blast critiquing the "cucumber salad" that was actually made with a zucchini 🤔 and seeing the creativity of incorporating the secret ingredient, umeboshi! Congrats to Nick Abstoss and Matt Leonard for the winning dish! 🏆

Our "Meet the Team" series continues! Say hello to Emory O'Malley (he/him) 👋 Title: Sr. Content Specialist Favorite food:  I make orange tofu with broccoli and white rice probably once a week. Favorite cuisine:  Italian--it's what I grew up with! Favorite kitchen utensil:  Peeler (no idea why, though) Most ordered PC food item  I order the Pulled BBQ Jackfruit Sandwiches every time they're on the menu. What's your favorite thing about PC? I love the collaborative, energetic atmosphere at Purple Carrot. Everyone is passionate about what they do and eager to support one another.

A match made in plant-based heaven 🌯 🌱 The only thing better than getting a Purple Carrot grocery box in the mail is finding the NEW JustEgg & “Cheese” Burrito inside. We’ve been in the kitchen cooking up this new heat-and-eat breakfast burrito, stuffed with fluffy JUST Egg, plant-based cheese, roasted potatoes, peppers and onions. Available now on Purple Carrot 🕺

🌟 Giving Back to our Communities! 🌟 Last week, our incredible team took a break from the usual work routine to give back to our community during our annual Volunteering Week! 🤝 From participating in a community garden and supporting food banks, our employees came together with one common goal: making a positive impact. A huge thank you to all who participated and made the week a success! 💜 🥕  

At Purple Carrot, our strength lies in our people! Welcome to our “Meet the Team” series. First up, Grace Marrese! ✨ Title: Project Manager - Operations Favorite food/cuisine/kitchen utensil? Food - Red Curry with Tofu (or really any Thai curry - it just makes the soul feel good) Cuisine - Thai or Italian (bread and pasta make the world go 'round) Utensil  - my knife (a sharp knife makes cooking so much more enjoyable) or my Vitamix (what can’t it do?!?) Most ordered PC food item? I am a meal kit and grocery girl! Cooking is a hobby of mine and I truly didn't realize how the convenience of ordering meal kits would change my life. And then our grocery items are so delicious I have to throw them in my box! What's your favorite thing about PC? I love working with food. Truly we laugh on calls so often at how in depth we talk about certain items! For a while I think “hot dog” was said on every call I was on for a month. WHO DOESN'T LOVE TALKING ABOUT HOT DOGS?!?! Also it is a company who is trying to make a difference in the health of our customers and the health of our planet by encouraging a more plant based lifestyle - it is super inspiring. Lastly, we have so much room to grow as a company and every employee is super passionate about that growth - it is very exciting to be a part of.

🌞🔥A Sizzling Success! 🔥🌞 We had a blast at our summer BBQ while enjoying Vegan hot dogs (now on the menu!) and our tasty new sides.

🌭 It's National Hot Dog Day 🌭 We're celebrating by rolling out the first 100% plant-based Chicago Dog that will be available nationwide. Supplies are limited - order while you can!
