All procedures are performed in accordance with a Quality Management System (QMS) Manual approved by accrediting agencies. As a recognized WBE/WOSB, Balter offers a boutique-type consulting service to high quality clientele, ensuring consistently excellent service, dedication to individual needs and a positive team-oriented work environment. The firm’s geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering department is supported by a fleet of all-terrain and truck mounted drill rigs and a full-service, accredited material testing laboratory which is operated in strict compliance to the requirements of AASHTO, ASTM E-329, the National Bureau of Standards, validated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and accredited by AASHTO Resources and the Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories (WACEL).
