We are seeking a Footwear Account Executive.  Responsibilities: Develop business plan (by account) that details growth objectives, category objectives, assortment plans, distribution objectives, and promotional plans. Develop strategic distribution plan and set and lead meetings with key accounts at markets, trade shows, and customer visits.  Meet/exceed annual sales plans Determine and sell the most effective merchandise mix and prepare stock to sales plans.  Work with planning team to create and execute sales reporting. Qualifications: Strong Leadership Skills. Data Driven Strategic Decision Maker. Growth Minded and Innovative. Role will require a balanced skill set that includes a strong grasp of line development, distribution strategy, sales planning and inventory management. Education BA/BS. 5 + Years Experience in Branded Footwear Business Development.    $15M + Footwear Sales responsibility with proven rapid growth. The ideal candidate will come with a proven track record, from a branded footwear company with wholesale sales to include specialty chain, on-line and bricks and mortar.  A self-directed professional who knows how to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while operating with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline. Intellectually curious, with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex business challenges by interpreting data, identifying issues, and creating data-driven process solutions. A team player who is eager to roll up their sleeves and execute, while also understanding the broader vision of the company. East Coast based with hybrid structure.     Here's 5 fun facts about our crochet in honor of March being our favorite month of the year (it's crochet month!) 1. EVERYTHING IS RECYCLED. All our crochet products are made from ocean-bound, ethically recovered plastics. Your new go-to bag may have been a water bottle collected from the other side of the world. 2. EVERYTHING IS HANDMADE. Trade secret: no machine can authentically replicate crochet. That means our crochet products are all handcrafted—and one of a kind. It takes about three days to create a bag. 3. OUR CROCHET BAGS ARE MADE IN BALI. The Sak supports growing economies, employing a team of Balinese artisans to hand-crochet our bags using a blend of traditional and innovative techniques. (Look for a signature inside certain styles!) 4. WE WERE THE FIRST. Before Grandmacore was a thing and TikTok tutorials made it cool to craft, The Sak was the first American company to heroize the crochet bag. Now the style appears in designer collections from Pucci to Prada. 5. WE’RE PETA APPROVED. In February 2020, The Sak became certified to use the PETA-approved vegan logo on our crochet collections. So you can rest assured no animal materials are used to make our 100% crochet styles.
