Avoid ending sentences with multiple ???. One ? is enough. Your power words should indicate an authentic question and save readers from smacking themselves and screaming when they see, “Are you ever coming home??????” . What is the solution? Emphasize the power word "ever" by italicizing, and use just one question mark. Editors will cut multiple marks in a nanosecond.
