I am excited to bring the skills that I have learned as Assistant Ship Life Editor to my new role as Ship Life Editor. I have always been passionate about writing and design, and I can't wait to bring these two skills together in this new role.

It is an honor to announce that I will be the Managing Editor of The Slate for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year! Some of my greatest accomplishments have come from joining and working for The Slate the last two semesters. Without the guidance, knowledge and inspiration I’ve gained, I would be far from the journalist I know I want to be. To be surrounded by such talented, passionate and driven individuals is a privilege. I’m grateful to be in this position to continue to learn alongside all of my brilliant friends. Thank you to The Slate’s current management, Elizabeth Peters and Connor Niszczak, for giving me a once in a lifetime opportunity. I will continue as the Head Copy Editor of The Slate in the 2024-25 academic year! Copy editing is a great experience because it allows me to read the first draft of articles. With that, I have enjoyed seeing writers in all sections continuously grow their skills, and I am excited to see this again next year. I am thankful to Elizabeth Peters and Connor Niszczak for awarding me this position for the second consecutive year.
