We're back, and we've got some news! We are currently recruiting for our next True Colors cohort and this time, we're inviting participants to join us until the end of the school year! This is a paid opportunity to grow your artistic practice in an identity affirming environment. True Colors is our longest running seasonal program and it's taken many shapes over the years. After feedback from both our directing team and the past troupe members, we've decided to extend this program until the end of the school year to give youth more opportunities to digest the material and apply their learnings! As we mentioned, this is a paid opportunity and The Theater Offensive is also happy to provide Grubhub gift cards on rehearsal days (because fuel is essential to creativity)! The application deadline is Friday, November 1, 2024. So, if you're a creative youth looking to build community and gain professional skills click the link below and apply today! https://bit.ly/3YfkvvJ

For our 35th Pride season at TTO, we’re highlighting the changemakers who have paved the path we walk on and uplifting the innovators who break new ground towards a liberated queer future for Boston. These artists, advocates and community leaders refuse to accept oppression as their reality; instead, they look beyond the edge and launch into the fertile unknown. Through his work as a consultant, particularly with TDC, Gordon has dedicated his career to helping nonprofits succeed, including TTO partners such as Fenway Health and Hyde Square Task Force. His long-term dedication to serving organizations that help communities thrive is exemplified through his monthly giving to TTO. Chetna Mehta: Former TTO Radical Futures artist Chetna Mehta’s artistic practice centers expressive healing arts and reflective community circles, utilizing themes like collective purpose, holistic well-being, decolonizing and liberatory creativity, compassionate connection and peaceful communication. I appreciate how TTO has maintained its radical vision, even as its programming focus has morphed over the decades, always committed to putting front and center the voices of people who are otherwise marginalized.” - Gordon Gottlieb Enter the portal at https://lnkd.in/gz8dihqx and make a donation to empower queer and trans artists of color today. #TheTheaterOffensive #TTOPride35 #35YearsofTTO #GordonGottlieb
