#betterwayeveryday Little did we know that we had so many heroes here at Tranzonic in Knoxville. Today we held a blood drive- thanks to our friends at Medic Regional Blood Center. Even though Danya Johnson- our Senior Quality Assurance Manager didn't have her cape on- she is shown here along with Tranzonic team member Sharon Childress- potentially saving up to 3 lives each. Pretty heroic, right?? We had quite a few others sign up as well- so thank you to all of our team members who gave a donation today. Donation levels are very low right now across the country- so please think about signing up to donate in your area.

#betterwayeveryday Record Breaking is becoming part of every day life at our Knoxville facility! The production value streams continue to set new records all the time (in production and in days safe) AND the shipping team keeps increasing their numbers of pallets shipped per day. The Adenna and Hosepco Sales teams have been selling everything that's not nailed down here lately and they wanted to show their support to the Knoxville team by feeding them lunch last week. Thank you Team Knoxville for your commitment to getting out quality products quickly- and thank you Adenna and Hospeco for your hard work and for showing appreciation to this hard working team!

#betterwayeveryday Who wore it better? Tom Terhune-Quality Manager (High-Tech Conversions)- came to visit us in Knoxville last week. Little did we know, he had been faced with a challenge. That challenge was "bring the thunder" and show Ben Powers-Senior Engineering Manager (Tranzonic) who the king of fashion is in this company. Each day they wore fantastic button up shirts to try and one up each other. We saw everything from fire breathing dragons to a sloth riding a T-rex... Check out this video of the best worst fashion show ever- and cast your vote in the comments on who you think "wore it better"!

#betterwayeveryday It's Tailgate Time in Tennessee!! With all of the football fanatics we have here at our Knoxville facility- we decided to kickoff football season the right way... With a tailgate lunch! The tables were covered in football swag, a boxed lunch was served, and we even played some Rocky Top while the employees dined. (Who doesn't love that song- right Pat?) We also got to witness Bob Gotham (our Production Manager) bowing down in defeat as he admitted to Scott Bruch (our Director of Operations) that the Philadelphia Eages are in fact- Superstars- as they beat the Minnesota Vikings last night. Check out this video of our tailgate event AND of Bob squaring away on his bet.

The tragic events of September 11, 2001 sent shockwaves around the globe that are still felt today. Nearly 3,000 people died in the terrorist attacks and thousands more were injured. On the afternoon of the attacks, three firefighters paused in their rescue work to raise an American flag at Ground Zero in New York City. In the midst of horror and despair, the iconic photo of the men would remind Americans that they were far from beaten. It represented the country's strength, courage, decency, and its hope for the future. -Don Nardo Take today to remember those lives lost and to be proud to be part of a nation that will always rise up.
