While we experienced a temporary loss of power and internet, the campus only sustained minor yard debris and is in overall good shape. This beloved TVS tradition brings history to life as students immerse themselves in the trades, jobs, and daily life of Colonial Williamsburg in 1775. Through research, writing, and interactive presentations, they gain a hands-on understanding of our nation's past. What a special day we had at our 6th annual Convocation! We couldn't help but feel the energy in the room as we gathered to honor our seniors and their cute Kinder Buddies, a bond that grows stronger every year. Each grade presented heartfelt gifts to the Class of 2025, and our very own Mrs. Sue Zumstein, Director of College Counseling, sat down with our seniors to interview them about their time at TVS. Our seniors' reflections were moving, reminding us all of the lifelong impact this community has. Today was all about celebrating our senior class of leaders at The Village School. A Historic Academic Milestone for TVS! Congratulations to Cooper Caldwell, '25, for his remarkable achievement as our second-ever National Merit Semifinalist! Scoring a perfect 1520 on the PSAT and matching it on the SAT, Cooper now holds the highest test scores in our school's history! This momentous accomplishment highlights our dedication to academic excellence and the incredible support our students receive through our Quest for Success program, led by Mrs. Sue Zumstein. Her 30 years of experience make this achievement even more exceptional, as Cooper is the first student she’s guided to a perfect PSAT score. At The Village School, we are proud of our robust academic programs, including our Platinum-awarded AP curriculum and personalized support for every student. Today, our students wore red, white, and blue to honor the courage and resilience of those affected by the horrific attacks and devastating events of September 11, 2001. During chapel service we held a moment of silence, to honor those we lost.
