  • “With that direction of lowering interest rates, we can see valuations getting stretched, and once you get valuations stretched, we can see some profit taking on any negative news so investors need to be braced for a little bit more volatility and I think they should be positioned for a lower interest rate environment, said Jimmy Lee during a recent appearance on BNN Bloomberg.    Jimmy remains in the ‘no-recession camp’ but cautions investors to prepare for potential volatility due to lower rates, slow economic data, and geopolitical risks. He suggests not chasing the hot stocks that have gone up the most like the big tech trade. Instead, position portfolios in sectors that typically perform well in a lower rate environment such as cyclical sectors like industrials and financials, public real estate as well as healthcare and utilities.    Watch the full interview for more insights: https://lnkd.in/gXcyzQme

It was an incredible event where many of our advisors came together, creating a great opportunity for networking, collaboration, and sharing insights. One of the highlights was our cocktail hour, which brought together an amazing crowd for some relaxed mingling and conversation. If you were at the conference, we'd love to hear from you! • “I think investors should brace for some more volatility,” said Jimmy Lee during a recent appearance on Fox Business Network in regards to how geopolitics and the upcoming election may impact markets.   However, Jimmy is in the ‘no recession camp’” and highlights that the economy is slowing down. He believes we need the Fed to cut sooner rather than later to potentially boost confidence in companies and consumers.    Watch the full interview for his bullish outlook on the rest of the year and which sectors he foresees ‘snapping back’, such as small caps and cyclical sectors, from a lower interest rate environment, and more: https://lnkd.in/ggxZzDnx

  • “I would really focus investors on positioning for a lower interest rate environment and we’re starting to see that trade happening now as we saw small caps really rallying against mega cap tech selling off recently,” said Jimmy Lee during an appearance on CNBC #WorldwideExchange.    Jimmy advises investors to avoid focusing too heavily on the presidential race when making investment decisions. Instead, he suggests paying attention to earnings and cyclical sectors like industrials, financials, and real estate, which have the potential to rebound in a lower-rate environment.   Check out the full interview segment for what to watch this earnings season, Jimmy’s outlook on the small cap rally, and more: https://shorturl.at/4HhME

  • Cheryl Constantino, MBA, CFP®: Experienced Businesswoman, Family Oriented Philanthropist, Adventurous Traveler Cheryl's interest in saving, investing, and philanthropy started early in her childhood. With a saving and philanthropy money box, she cultivated a habit of financial planning at a young age. Her father's role as a business partner with his brother in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where they owned the property and a restaurant, greatly influenced her. Cheryl worked in the family business, gaining experience in both front and back-office operations, which helped her understand the nuances of being a successful entrepreneur. Cheryl pursued higher education in business, communications, marketing, finance and accounting. She began her career in Washington D.C. in the television industry in affiliate relations with the area's regional sports network owned by Group W, the broadcasting division of Westinghouse. Her path as an executive took her to Stamford, CT and Denver, CO on the business side of their country music division where she traveled the country and developed a passion for international trips outside of business. As an executive, she received stock options, prompting her to help colleagues understand their compensation packages. With this, Cheryl found her calling and made the leap to financial planning just months before her office was closed due to industry consolidation. This transition led her to meet a group in Las Vegas that guided her in financial services. Since then, Cheryl has been building relationships based on trust, integrity, and transparency in financial planning and wealth management for over 20 years. Her diverse background in family business and corporate America equips her with unique insights beneficial to her clients, particularly business owners, executives, and those approaching retirement or in transition due to the passing of a spouse or divorce. Cheryl works closely with members of the Constantino Callender Team to bring clients the personal attention of a dedicated team and the resources of a national firm, through The Wealth Consulting Group, LPL Financial, and Schwab. She joined WCG 10 years ago in the transition to a hybrid RIA and values the Investment Committee, Advisor Resource Center, along with the quality of colleagues brought together by Jimmy Lee. Cheryl remains a travel enthusiast while committed to family, and enjoys sports, the outdoors, gardening, wine tasting, and cooking with her significant other, Quinton. Their passion for the community continues through planned giving.

  • This month, we're recognizing Andrew Odaniell's outstanding contributions to WCG. A recent TMRP survey praised his work, stating: "Andrew did a beautiful job with the WCG video for our Vegas event... he was on his feet all day and walked the rooms non-stop." Andrew's marketing journey began in videography, where he discovered a passion for editing, film, and photography. His talents quickly led him to collaborate with high-level influencers in the sports industry, including the NBA and NFL, before transitioning to work with social media influencers. This freelance opportunity allowed him to build a robust portfolio right before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite his success in videography and influencer marketing, Andrew had always been interested in applying his marketing skills in the finance industry. He achieved this goal by securing a position as a senior marketing consultant at LPL Financial. However, his tenure there was short-lived as he was offered a dream opportunity to become the marketing director at The Wealth Consulting Group (WCG). Though it was a tough decision to leave LPL, Andrew recognized the unique chance to make a significant impact at WCG while still maintaining a connection with LPL. At WCG, Andrew excels in strategy, market research, and understanding industry trends. He collaborates closely with colleagues like Anna Ricci and Sarah Banister, ensuring their marketing efforts are cohesive and effective. Andrew's commitment to his work is evident in his dedication to helping advisors market themselves effectively, highlighting their achievements and ensuring they receive the support they need. Outside of work, Andrew's interests in videography, technology, fitness, and spending time with loved ones enrich his professional life and set him apart in the marketing field.
