The WBDC is excited to announce the official name of our project at the former Saint-Gobain Abrasives campus. GreenTech Park is the largest project in our 60 year history and marks a transformational moment for the WBDC and Worcester.
🚨 Exciting News! 🚨 At yesterday's meeting of the North Worcester Business Association, Craig Blais, President of The Worcester Business Development Corporation (WBDC) announced GreenTech Park, a transformative 51-acre advanced manufacturing campus set to redefine industrial growth in Central Massachusetts! 🌱🏗️ With 850,000+ square feet of planned manufacturing space, GreenTech Park will be developed in multiple phases over the next several years. Phase One is already well underway, focusing on environmental remediation and the demolition of obsolete structures—75% of which have already been removed! ✅ As we move forward, WBDC will implement critical infrastructure upgrades, including: 🚧 New roadway networks 💧 Enhanced public utilities (water, sewer, drainage) 🔋 Sustainable development initiatives Once completed, GreenTech Park will offer pad-ready sites designed to attract cutting-edge industries. Future buildings will range from 50,000 to 450,000 square feet, providing scalable opportunities for advanced manufacturing, R&D, and high-tech companies—particularly those committed to climate change mitigation and sustainable practices. 🌍⚡ We are building the future of manufacturing, innovation, and job creation right here in Worcester.
