Website engagement is an important Google metric. How - and how long - visitors to your website interact with your content signals to the search engine giant whether your content is relevant and satisfies user intent. Once you attract your ideal customer to your website, then what? How do you get them to scroll your home page and click on content to boost dwell time? Micro-interactions are a website design strategy that drives engagement and conversions. Micro-interactions are subtle, often overlooked design elements that encourage user engagement and enhance the overall experience on a website. Defined as trigger-feedback pairs, they consist of a trigger—either a user action or a change in the system state—and feedback, a visual or auditory response to that trigger. These interactions provide immediate feedback, guide users through tasks, and reinforce your brand identity. Not sure how to use them effectively? Check out our latest article that features one of our website design partners, Kevin Khoury of Direct Allied Agency, as he shares tips and tricks for incorporating micro-interactions into your website design.

Digital spaces are saturated with content. It makes it difficult to stand out. Using subject matter experts in your content strategy can boost your visibility - not to mention your credibility. Not sure how to find SMEs? Shari Berg's latest newsletter breaks down the process to help you get started. Here's a snippet from part 1: What are the benefits of using a subject matter expert? The benefits of using subject matter experts in your content marketing strategy are numerous. One of the biggest advantages is that SME-driven content dramatically improves your search engine visibility. Google—King of the search engines—prioritizes content that follows the E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) paradigm. Relying on an industry expert to share insights is one way to satisfy E-E-A-T. Another perk of incorporating SME knowledge into your content strategy is streamlining your creation schedule. SMEs can quickly navigate complex topics, simplify technical jargon for your audience, and provide real-world examples that resonate with readers. As a bonus, your content will be more engaging and relatable. Lastly, SME-driven content builds trust with your audience. We live in an era where misinformation runs rampant. It’s hard for readers to know who to trust and which digital information is reliable. You’re signaling to your audience your brand’s commitment to providing accurate, valuable insights by featuring SMEs regularly. Want the complete article?
