    Three months ago, as we celebrated International Women's Day, we paused for a short while to honour the incredible achievements of women across all walks of life and shed light on our leading female role models, in our case, entrepreneurs. We celebrated how far we've come but also considered how much of the journey we still have ahead of us. Without limiting the scope of the gender imbalance challenge to our professional lives, we dedicated the day to focus on gender inequality in business leadership - specifically in the startup ecosystem. Here, data shows how female founders only receive a small fraction of venture capital funding from VCs only rarely represented by female leadership. What other motives are driving shoppers and brands to explore #recommerce options? 💰 Cost: 58% of consumers say shopping resale minimizes the impact of inflation. 🤝 Culture shift: 76% of survey respondents say the stigma behind used clothing is declining. 💻 Online options: 63% of used apparel shoppers last year made an online purchase, pointing to a shift away from traditional brick-and-mortar secondhand stores.
