Yesterday morning, Tree House welcomed trainers from BluePearl Pet Hospital for a pet CPR refresher! The training, led by Danielle Parker and Sage Whitmer, covered essential topics like CPR preparedness and resuscitation techniques tailored to different animal body types and sizes. Following the in-depth training, Sage performed live CPR demonstrations on BluePearl’s cat and dog dummies, Terry and Jerry. After the demonstrations, our team had the opportunity to practice hands-on techniques to perfect their skills! Continual training ensures our team stays current with best practices and providing educational resources for staff and volunteers helps to ensure the well-being of every cat and dog in our care!
