So far this season our Hospital Community Garden has produced a total of 383 pounds of produce. We are growing Asparagus, Rhubarb, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Onions, Peppers, Cucumbers, Carrots, & Strawberries. 🍓 🍅 🥕 All produce goes to two food pantries in the area: Bellevue Fish and Loaves & Clyde Back Door. A special thank you to our Master Gardeners Bob Beck, Patti Gray, Donna Allen, Bernadette Ferguson, & Hospital Volunteer Marge Jones! All of your work has a profound impact on the community and we would not be able to do this without you! 😊 ❤️

Dean Miller, Chairman of the Board of The Bellevue Hospital(TBH) has announced a significant milestone in the leadership at TBH, with the appointment of Sara Brokaw as the new Chief Executive Officer. "Sara has been an integral part of our hospital community since August of 2013, initially joining us as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Clinical Services. Her dedication and exceptional leadership qualities were evident from the outset, and in January, she assumed the role of President and Chief Nursing Officer. During this time, Sara has played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital following the departure of Tim Buit, our former CEO," said Miller. "Her appointment is also a historic moment for our hospital as she becomes the first woman to serve in the role of CEO at TBH. This achievement not only reflects Sara's outstanding capabilities, but also underscores our commitment to diversity and inclusivity in leadership." Continued Miller, "Sara brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our hospital's mission, having demonstrated exemplary leadership during her tenure. Thanks to Certified Pharmacy Tech, Diane Straub, these two babies are ready to celebrate Independence Day in style! We would like to send a special shoutout to Diane for her heartfelt gesture of crocheting themed hats for newborns in the Family Birthing Center during certian holidays. Recently, she crafted adorable Fourth of July-themed hats: Betsy Ross inspired designs for girls and Uncle Sam hats for boys. Diane’s creativity and generosity has not only brought smiles to the faces of new parents, but has also created lasting memories for families welcoming their little ones into the world at The Bellevue Hospital. 👨⚕️ Exciting News! Dr. Robert Seese has joined our medical staff at The Bellevue Hospital. He is a Board Certified Pediatrician with over 21 years of experience in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings. Dr. Seese graduated from Northeastern Ohio University in 2002 and completed his residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Seese also brings specialized expertise in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
