About us

Since 2000, The Bristal has helped families understand and embrace the advantages of Assisted Living. Our privately owned senior care communities, and all they offer, are the finest you’ll encounter. We not only grant residents the freedom to come and go and live as they wish, we support them with the daily assistance of a loving, caring senior living community — each with a unique personality and energy. And if that were not enough, we offer innovative programs that enhance and enrich our residents’ experiences every day. The result: independence, safety and life enrichment. This is The Bristal way. Our expert staff keeps residents involved, enriched, engaged and invested in reaching their potential — even in their senior years. Learning. Evolving. Progressing. Achieving. This is the difference you’ll find at The Bristal… where every day means more.

September marks #FallPreventionMonth, and at The Bristal, our residents' health and safety remain our foremost priority. This commitment encourages our team to explore innovative technologies that enhance safety across our communities. As part of this endeavor, several of The Bristal communities have implemented Foresite's fall detection and health monitoring system in several locations. Foresite is an advanced platform that integrates artificial intelligence with no-touch sensors to reduce falls, track health data, and promptly alert our team in the event of a fall. Hear from the teams at The Bristal and Foresite on how this technology works and why it is so invaluable for our team members and residents. • Happy National Senior Citizens Day! Today and every day, The Bristal celebrates the seniors in our communities for their unique stories and contributions to the world. When Ronald Reagan founded this holiday in 1988 he said, "We can best demonstrate our gratitude and esteem by making sure that our communities are right places in which to mature and grow older — situations in which older people can participate to the fullest and can find the encouragement, acceptance, assistance, and services they need to continue to lead lives of independence and dignity."

  • Who says the culinary experience in assisted living can't be extraordinary? This past week, we hosted our Taste of The Bristal events in Nassau County and Suffolk County, where our dining teams showcased their talents in remarkable ways. Our chefs wowed guests with innovative dishes and beautifully designed tablescapes, showcasing the artistry and creativity that goes into every meal. Guests voted for the People's Choice award, while judges evaluated best bite, best table presentation, best plate presentation, and most unique. Our Vice President of Food and Beverage, Randy Tremble, had the honor of awarding these talented chefs with gifts generously donated by our vendors. We're incredibly proud of our teams for their hard work and dedication. Their passion for culinary excellence is evident in every bite!
