About us
The Jackson Clinics, LP is a locally owned physical therapy practice in multiple locations throughout Northern Virginia. We specialize in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Our practice was founded in 2005 by Richard and Anna Jackson with a two part mission. First, we set out to be a regional practice to serve the needs of the entire Northern Virginia community. Second, we wanted to be a model practice in all respects; clinical care, education and research. Simply stated, we have a desire to be the best practice that we can be. In the Jackson Clinics, our mission is to improve human lives: those of our patients, of each other, and of our greater community. We take that mission very seriously and expect commitment to that mission from all team members. With world-class training and culturally embedded accountability, we feel that we will live this mission and achieve our vision of becoming a model practice in all respects.

Becoming an expert in physical therapy is no small feat. Many PTs might wonder why they should pursue expertise if it doesn’t immediately result in more money, flexibility, or opportunities. However, the truth is that expertise does lead to these benefits if you look in the right places. https://lnkd.in/eF8KcGpr #PhysicalTherapyExpertise #PTSpecialization #TherapistDevelopment #HealthcareProfessionalGrowth #ExpertiseMatters #ClinicalExcellence

Thanks for sharing your expertise with our team!!
Had a great time talking about sports performance, load management, and workout nutrition to the Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers at The Jackson Clinics, LP. Thank you to Kris Porter DPT, OCS for organizing the virtual and in-person portions of my course!

As physical therapists, we are deeply committed to improving the lives of our patients. However, the environment in which we work significantly impacts our ability to do so effectively. A happy workplace culture is not just a bonus—it’s essential. Those who say yes to having a happy workplace are often more productive and tend to stay longer in their positions. But what if your answer is no? How can you change the culture to make it better, or is it time to seek a new one? https://lnkd.in/eQh3g99C #PhysicalTherapy #WorkplaceWellness #HealthyWorkplace #EmployeeEngagement #WorkLifeBalance #WellnessAtWork #HealthyWorkCulture

Growth is an essential part of any career, especially in the dynamic field of physical therapy. But let’s be honest: growth is often uncomfortable. It frequently requires us to step outside our comfort zones and embrace challenges that push us beyond our perceived limits. What makes this process more manageable—and more effective—is having someone to act as a catalyst, someone who initiates, clarifies, and supports your progress. Here are some ways you can find that catalyst and propel yourself in the right direction. https://lnkd.in/ecRhBmeq

Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by the demands of work and life that you teeter on the brink of either exploding in a fit of rage or simply giving up? We’ve been there more times than we can count. As cliché as it may sound, the one tool that has consistently pulled many PTs back from the edge is meditation. Let’s explore some mental health tips for physical therapists, and how a quick 10-minute practice can shift your entire mindset. https://lnkd.in/emmbVwdP #PhysicalTherapy #MentalHealthMatters #WorkLifeBalance #MindfulnessPractice #TherapistLife #StressRelief

As physical therapists, our days are often filled with rewarding experiences as we help patients recover, regain mobility, and improve their quality of life. Yet, every so often, we encounter that one patient—the one who seems to be on a mission to ruin our day. This isn’t just an isolated sentiment; it’s a common experience among PTs, as evidenced by the fact that this very topic has become one of the highest trending thread in physical therapy forums on Reddit. Here's how to deliver great care while keeping your sanity in the face of a difficult patient. https://lnkd.in/ejEgHzzQ
